Despite blizzard conditions in December that caused us to cancel the Dec. 20th scheduled performance, the

GBC Christmas program was held on January 3rd of the new year.

 

The program was entitled, "Tell Me the Story of Christmas",  and featured a Sunday School teacher sharing the true story of Christmas--the coming of the Savior to earth.

 

As the story unfolds, several "actual" characters "come to life" before the students eyes to personally share how God worked in their lives.  The students "meet" Mary, the Inkeeper, a Shepherd and Simeon.

 

Along with the story, various songs were performed by the Grace Baptist Church choir, and a violin piece played by Jennifer and John Wilson.  The pianists for the program were Annie Thacker and Victoria Wilson.

 

The children also performed as the "Joy Bells" and played "Ring the Bells".  They joined the choir for their last song entitled, "Tell Me the Story of Christmas".

 

A fellowship dinner followed the program.
